Banyan Tree Circles

The Banyan is a fig tree with a long rich history.  It is said that in the 6th Centrury BC, Prince Siddhartha sat under a fig tree and received enlightenment to become the Buddha. The Banyan spreads out and sends down roots that eventually turn into an interconnected forest of strong trunks anchored by the same core system.  These sacred giants can cover large circles of land, and clearings under banyan trees are used as traditional meeting spaces where communities gather to discuss ideas, educate each other, and resolve issues.

Banyan Tree Circles is a Canadian consultancy built on the ideas represented by this extraordinary tree.   Inspired by the Banyan, we will create spaces for healthy dialogue, work with you to grow your strengths, make connections, share successes, and curate tools that will enable individuals, groups and communities to grow resilient circles of social change.
