Investing in communities

Banyan Tree Circles will invest 20% - 30% of our earnings back into community-based not-for-profit organizations across the world.

We also commit to working with grassroots groups or organizations in the Greater Toronto Area or global contexts who are under-resourced and unable to access valuable supports.  We commit to selecting one organization each year to provide pro bono consulting and training services up to $5,000.  Please contact us to learn whether you are eligible to apply for this support.

Root Ourselves and rise in Yoga: A Yoga Retreat & Fundraiser

It’s official! We have launched our upcoming fundraising event Root Ourselves and Rise (ROAR) in Yoga: in collaboration with The Holding Space and Banyan Tree Circles. This weekend-long retreat & fundraiser takes place in Orillia, ON from Sept. 17 to 19, 2021.

contributing with kindness

Thank all of you for contributing with kindness to the fundraising efforts for Naz Care Home in Delhi. This summer, as we collectively negotiate a global pandemic, we raised $3,000 for this amazing organization that nurtures children and youth living with HIV.

Linking local to global, the Donkey Walk 2018 raised awareness about animal rights and over $5,000 for the work of All Creatures Great and Small, a small sanctuary for injured animals outside New Delhi.
